Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Zekai Yu, the operator of Yuskai. They apply when you access or use the Yuskai iOS application, website pages, APIs, and related services.

By creating an account or using Yuskai, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Yuskai.

Your license to use the iOS application is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms govern the Yuskai service and your conduct on it.

• You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live.
• If you are under the age of legal majority, you may use Yuskai only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
• You must have the legal capacity required for any employment, housing, purchase, sale, or other transaction you choose to pursue.
• You may not use Yuskai if applicable law prohibits you from receiving or using the service.

A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use Yuskai is responsible for supervising that use and for the minor's compliance with these Terms.

Yuskai helps people discover and publish nearby Jobs, Housing, and Marketplace listings, save listings, and communicate with other users. Yuskai provides software and moderation tools; it does not itself provide the job, housing, product, or transaction described in a user's listing.

• Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
• Keep your password and session credentials confidential and do not share access to your account.
• Use only accounts you are authorized to control.
• Notify Yuskai promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, impersonation, or another security problem.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law.

We may require additional verification, limit access, or protect an account when we reasonably believe it is compromised, fraudulent, unsafe, or being used in violation of these Terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety, ownership, availability, and completeness of every listing you publish and for evaluating listings created by others.

Jobs

• Do not misrepresent an employer, role, pay, required qualifications, working conditions, or hiring process.
• Do not request unlawful fees, deposits, purchases, financial credentials, or sensitive identity documents as a condition of applying.
• Employers and applicants are responsible for employment, wage, discrimination, licensing, tax, and worker-protection laws that apply to them.

Housing

• Do not misrepresent a property, price, availability, ownership, authority to rent, fees, deposits, or material conditions.
• Do not publish discriminatory housing preferences or otherwise violate fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws.
• Users are responsible for verifying the property, the other party's authority, applicable leases, deposits, inspections, and local housing rules.

Marketplace

• You may list only items you own or are legally authorized to sell or transfer.
• Describe the item, condition, price, and known material defects honestly.
• Do not list illegal, stolen, recalled, counterfeit, dangerous, regulated, or prohibited items.

Yuskai does not guarantee a user's identity, background, qualifications, authority, listing accuracy, property condition, product condition, payment ability, or intent. A profile, listing, message, or moderation status is not an endorsement or verification.

• Independently verify important claims before applying, visiting, paying, shipping, hiring, renting, buying, or selling.
• Do not send gift cards, passwords, verification codes, banking credentials, or unnecessary identity documents.
• Use safe meeting practices and consider a public place when exchanging an item in person.
• Use written agreements and lawful payment methods appropriate for the transaction.
• Stop communicating, block the account, and report content if something appears deceptive, coercive, threatening, or unsafe.
• Contact local emergency services when there is an immediate threat. Yuskai is not an emergency-response service.

You may not use Yuskai to break the law, harm another person, interfere with the service, or evade enforcement. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Fraud, scams, impersonation, deceptive claims, advance-fee schemes, phishing, or attempts to obtain account credentials.
• Threats, harassment, stalking, bullying, hate, exploitation, trafficking, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual sexual content.
• Transactions involving illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, paid sexual services, or other illegal or prohibited items or services.
• Discrimination that violates applicable employment, housing, public-accommodation, or other law.
• Spam, repetitive solicitation, unauthorized commercial messaging, or manipulation of search and discovery.
• Malware, automated scraping, reverse engineering, security testing without permission, denial-of-service activity, or unauthorized access.
• Collecting, publishing, or misusing another person's private or sensitive information.
• Evading a block, suspension, content restriction, account deletion, or other safety measure.

The Community Guidelines provide additional examples and explain how Yuskai evaluates content.

You retain ownership of content you create. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit that content and that doing so does not violate law, another person's rights, or these Terms.

You grant Yuskai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, transmit, display, and make your content available as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service. This license is limited to those purposes and ends when the content is deleted, except for limited copies or anonymized records retained for safety, integrity, backup, dispute, or legal purposes.

You understand that public listings may be viewed and shared by others. Do not publish content you are not comfortable making public. Private messages are provided to conversation participants and may be reviewed by authorized staff when reasonably necessary to address a report, safety issue, or Terms violation.

Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights. If you believe content on Yuskai infringes your rights, contact us with identification of the protected work, the relevant listing or content, your contact information, and a good-faith explanation of the claimed infringement.

We may remove disputed content and take action against accounts that repeatedly or seriously infringe the rights of others.

Yuskai may use automated rules and staff review to reject, delay, hide, restore, restrict, or remove content and to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts. We may act when content violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, law, user safety, or service integrity.

We are not obligated to monitor every listing or message and cannot guarantee that all prohibited content will be detected. Users should use reporting and blocking controls when appropriate. You may contact support if you believe an enforcement decision was made in error.

Yuskai is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free availability, or that every listing, message, notification, location result, or realtime event will be delivered or remain available.

Yuskai does not currently process user-to-user payments. If paid features or payment services are introduced, additional terms and platform payment rules may apply.

Yuskai relies on services such as Apple platform services, Supabase, cloud hosting, mapping or geocoding capabilities, email, and network providers. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Yuskai.

Yuskai is responsible for its own service, but is not responsible for third-party products, websites, communications, payment methods, or services chosen independently by users.

You may stop using Yuskai at any time. You can permanently delete your account from Me → Settings → Delete Account. The Privacy Policy explains the deletion workflow and limited records that may be retained.

Yuskai may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, legal requirement, security threat, risk to another person, fraud, repeated abuse, or material harm to the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, retained licenses, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yuskai is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties that may otherwise be implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, title, and non-infringement.

Yuskai does not warrant any user, listing, job, employer, applicant, property, landlord, tenant, product, buyer, seller, message, transaction, location, or outcome. You assume the risks of contacting users and entering transactions, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zekai Yu and Yuskai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, opportunity, data, goodwill, housing, employment, property, or funds, arising from or related to Yuskai, user content, user conduct, or a user-to-user transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, or a transaction you conduct through Yuskai. This provision does not apply where responsibility cannot legally be imposed on you.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and describe the issue so the parties can attempt to resolve it informally. Applicable law governs these Terms and any dispute, including mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules that apply where you live.

These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive access to any court, agency, or remedy that applicable law makes available to you.

• If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
• A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
• You may not transfer your account or these Terms without permission. Yuskai may transfer the service and these Terms as part of a lawful reorganization or transfer.
• These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and applicable platform terms form the agreement governing your use of Yuskai.

We may update these Terms as Yuskai changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
